With a little luck, jeju하2루's Bryan Au got control of the ball when Bertram Svenningsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from 하 대 in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. Bryan Au made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 12th minute of play. After 15 played minutes jeju하2루 got a freekick which was hit by Feri Soputan. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 이 윤, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertram Svenningsen during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Johnny Watson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Denmark's Mikkel Wulff dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Lars Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 49 minutes into the game, Lucky Gibran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Au having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Lucky Gibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, one of jeju하2루:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for jeju하2루. Chris Nygaard shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feri Soputan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 93rd minute of play forced jeju하2루's goalkeeper Bryan Au to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 100 minutes, 하 대 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the jeju하2루 and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Despite being the better team, Denmark failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
