After a rather tough play, FC Builder Sofia's Murilo Pirani got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Builder Sofia's zone, Sigfrido Auletta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamen Kapitanov came out of the goal and Sigfrido Auletta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stamen Kapitanov made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Zaccheo Andolina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Stamen Kapitanov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Dobri Zhablenski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guiscardo Davide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Stamen Kapitanov made a huge save. In the 93rd minute Sten Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Stamen Kapitanov in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
