In the 14th minute, Croatia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 吕思浩 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, 吕思浩 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. Ovidio Leizarraga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 32nd playminute. In the 38th minute 吕思浩 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
