In the 12th minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabby Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabby Arias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Tolino in the 17th minute. Gabby Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gabby Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ilulea FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The Ilulea FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Mirande made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Deodato Magliozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Redondo in the 51st minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Mirande came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Gabby Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. After 67 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zena Busacca. 68 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when 史铮坤 came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Eliseo Cutri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias did a great save. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Gabby Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabby Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. When Zaccheo Andolina, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gabby Arias was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Italy's Siricio Liotta in the 86th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gabby Arias was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ilulea FC through an amazing save. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabby Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Ilulea FC from getting a goal against them.
