Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Teobaldo Belmiro made the kick off and thus started the match. Sostene Vitulli made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Gastres FC's Pedro Pelayo managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Pelayo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Sostene Vitulli. But to his dismay, Sostene Vitulli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Pedro Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. After 13 minutes of play, Gastres FC's Calistrat Geangu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Belmiro in the 27th minute of play. Pedro Pelayo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Belmiro came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Gastres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. Porziano Marchitelli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Pelayo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pedro Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 34th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Pelayo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Ramond in the 43rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Belmiro came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Sostene Vitulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gastres FC's Pedro Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 55th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Belmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Pelayo. Pedro Pelayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gastres FC made a substitution. Benjamin Neto replaced Teobaldo Belmiro. In the 71st minute, Zaccheo Andolina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gastres FC's Pedro Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 76th minute of play. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. After 91 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Quiroga who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 93rd minute of play. When Gastres FC's Benjamin Neto in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal. Benjamin Neto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
