Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reyes No in the 7th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes No in the 9th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes No, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Salud y República's Cai Ocaña made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reyes No fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ulrich Stein hit a great ball. When Salud y República's Reyes No in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cai Ocaña during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cai Ocaña hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nisio Riba kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Reyes No managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salud y República's supporters rose to their feet, but Reyes No was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salud y República's Iosu Pantoja managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Mergenthaler in the 44 minute of the game. In the 45th minute Reyes No shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Juan Carlos Suciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Reyes No put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Reyes No tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reyes No recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reyes No in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Carlos Suciu. Salud y República's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Salud y República's Iván Vila was substituted for Reyes No. When Iván Vila came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Salud y República fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iván Vila couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute Iván Vila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Salud y República's Nisio Riba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Salud y República had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
