Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilie Hurmuz. Flavio Vittori was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Ilie Hurmuz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ilie Hurmuz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Benvenuto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Abelardo Arotza in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. In the 13th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Elpidio Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gomberto Picozzi. 20 minutes into the match, Timo!'s 范崇镇 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Amor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigfrido Auletta went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Benvenuto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 32nd minute of the game Abelardo Arotza made a throw-in which Evandro Ortiz played forward. In the 36th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Timo!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Italy's Gianpaolo Mascari getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Italy booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Ravenna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Blas Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siricio Liotta struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Elpidio Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Italy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Benvenuto made a kick off. A collision led to Timo! getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Emilio Ravenna hit a great ball. Emilio Ravenna made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Evandro Ortiz immediately put the ball in play. 60 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Hurmuz came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Elpidio Amor in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timo! made a substitution. Tomas Gelacio replaced Arquímedes Cesario. Italy were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Timo!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. The corner ended in Sigfrido Auletta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Timo!'s Elpidio Amor did a great save. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandr Lunin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Ricardo Jerardo in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Elpidio Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilie Hurmuz's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandr Lunin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Italy made a substitution.
