Karl-Magnus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Uggstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, TSIGALKO's Ola Lidberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and TSIGALKO's Karl-Magnus Ekrot didn't even have to move. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karl-Magnus Ekrot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Uggstedt in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 32nd minute of play forced TSIGALKO's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 39th minute of the match, Kristian Ekelund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The TSIGALKO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Karl-Magnus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 72nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liam de Almeida went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 79th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gijsbert ter Kruimer to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd match minute, TSIGALKO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Ersman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Netherlands booed when TSIGALKO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Karlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
