IGUIPORÃ FC's Carlos Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 22nd minute of play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Hjortsberg. In the 26th minute, IGUIPORÃ FC's Eric Hjortsberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Carlos Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Eric Hjortsberg had several of the Hungary's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Fodor Daniel as he didn't even see the shot coming. Carlos Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Carioca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Carioca having to interfere.

The supporters of Hungary booed when IGUIPORÃ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiel Franckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Carlos Carioca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Hjortsberg in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balazs Lajos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Carioca having to make a save. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Carlos Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IGUIPORÃ FC's Carlos Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save IGUIPORÃ FC from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. IGUIPORÃ FC made a substitution. Luiz Paulo Chaves replaced Eric Hjortsberg. In the 89th minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, João Adolfo Goiano put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. In the 93rd minute, Jaime Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, IGUIPORÃ FC could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
