Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugó Révész, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinho Taffarel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 21st minute of play forced Keszi Athletic's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Hugó Révész sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Hugó Révész notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Keszi Athletic made a substitution. Kornél Kerekes replaced Sabin Calderon. István Gyurkovics kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Claudinho Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugó Révész received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Ambrus in the 79th minute of the match. István Gyurkovics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Hugó Révész shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Hugó Révész kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Claudinho Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 95th minute.
