Keszi Athletic's Hugó Révész got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Keszi Athletic made a substitution. Kornél Kerekes replaced Anton Kutnjak. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Hugó Révész put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Csaba Sarkady made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Sven Krakouer. Hugó Révész blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. In the 98th minute Hugó Révész shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keszi Athletic's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
