Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Keszi Athletic getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Isac Vale hit a great ball. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sabin Calderon was slow to take the kick. During this time Keszi Athletic's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sabin Calderon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. Hugó Révész succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. In the 21st minute, Hugó Révész got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugó Révész sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hugó Révész had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gábor Hellinger kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Hugó Révész came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Keszi Athletic's Kornél Kerekes was substituted for Anton Kutnjak. Keszi Athletic's István Gyurkovics was substituted for Vaios Vourtzoumis. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugó Révész made a kick off. Claudinho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudinho Taffarel. Antal Valentin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Keszi Athletic's Claudinho Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Keszi Athletic from getting a goal against them. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Gyurkovics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keszi Athletic's Márton Lengyel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bakos Endre in the 67 minute of the game. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Keszi Athletic's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Taffarel came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bakos Endre made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Antal Valentin however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Claudinho Taffarel in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Hugó Révész cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Keszi Athletic's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Taffarel came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Hugó Révész managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keszi Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugó Révész was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugó Révész sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Takacs Tibor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Hungary played a much better game than Keszi Athletic and deserved their victory. The Keszi Athletic players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
