In the 3rd minute, Claudiu Răducanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfü Öktemer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Toledo. MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lütfü Öktemer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lütfü Öktemer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute of the match Spain got a corner. MARAZZINO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Spain's Vicente Merino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lütfü Öktemer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 25th minute of the match. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 37th minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfü Öktemer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the MARAZZINO defense, Adria Bielsa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lütfü Öktemer. The MARAZZINO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lütfü Öktemer should have stopped the shot. Omar Toledo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Lütfü Öktemer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Claudiu Răducanu made the kick off in the second half. MARAZZINO made a substitution. Darío Benedetto replaced Dacian Zburliş. MARAZZINO's Giorgio Chiellini was substituted for Arman Miran. Spain were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after MARAZZINO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Omar Toledo took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darío Benedetto in the 73rd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ozan Atılay sent off a good shot on target. Ozan Atılay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gabriel Ascaso firmly grabbed it by the left post. It was a well-played corner which Ball Pitt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 86th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darío Benedetto's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Carles Cherro came free, but Lütfü Öktemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Sergio Ruiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Darío Benedetto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. In the 97th minute MARAZZINO were awarded a corner. Giorgio Chiellini went to the cornerflag to take it. Giorgio Chiellini made a great header on MARAZZINO's corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. There was no doubt that Spain were the better team. Spain's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
