When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mustafa Cumhur Suergin to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mustafa Cumhur Suergin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Güneş Baytüze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Güneş Baytüze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Cumhur Suergin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Güneş Baytüze came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Enes Kartal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Belgium's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
