Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wisan Hangmui started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wisan Hangmui in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pinthusorn Kheangraeng in the 5th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wisan Hangmui in the 7th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinthusorn Kheangraeng in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute Wisan Hangmui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pinthusorn Kheangraeng went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alan Rezek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Chiang Mai Football Club defense, Alan Rezek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paiboon Phatthanasing. The Chiang Mai Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paiboon Phatthanasing should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Alan Rezek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Chiang Mai Football Club booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Vitek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Kvetoslav Janku left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Czech Republic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Erik Jilek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Paiboon Phatthanasing made a huge save. Chiang Mai Football Club's Kasidit Pantasen got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If David Rusil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Erik Jilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paiboon Phatthanasing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Dostal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paiboon Phatthanasing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Tawat Chaiprakhon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Pinthusorn Kheangraeng suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bohumir Kohout charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bohumir Kohout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chiang Mai Football Club's Sutthisak Moolpakdee was substituted for Pinthusorn Kheangraeng. Bohumir Kohout kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Sutthisak Moolpakdee took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Paiboon Phatthanasing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Rezek in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wisan Hangmui in the 81st minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paiboon Phatthanasing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Jilek, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Erik Jilek hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Paiboon Phatthanasing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 87th minute of the match. Sutthisak Moolpakdee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wisan Hangmui's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Czech Republic's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
