Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zigmantas Gimbutas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 10th minute SC Braga were awarded a corner. Quintino Carvalhais went to the cornerflag to take it. SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 13th minute of the match. Antonio Adán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintino Carvalhais in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the SC Braga defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Adán. The SC Braga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Adán should have stopped the shot. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 31st minute of play. Antonio Adán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Braga's goalie prevented a goal. After 36 minutes of play, SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 40th minute. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Katona Janos. In the 44th minute of the match Quintino Carvalhais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Zigmantas Gimbutas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When Hungary's Balazs Lajos in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Braga's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Antonio Adán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 52nd minute. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Antonio Adán made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Adán was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Antonio Adán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 63rd minute. Donato Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Braga's Antonio Adán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save SC Braga from getting a goal against them. Zigmantas Gimbutas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, SC Braga's Donato Sampaio made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donato Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Antonio Adán made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
