The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vincent Abubakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. In the 5th minute Ren Xi Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ren Xi Chens short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Casper Claes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Martin Landro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ren Xi Chen in the 27th minute. Floris Claeys made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ozanköy u21's Bektaş Ali Demirel. Seyhan Atlıhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Abubakar's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Abubakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Seyhan Atlıhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 41st minute of play. Ren Xi Chen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Belgium's Siebe Michiels got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ren Xi Chen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Ren Xi Chen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Xi Chen in the 55th minute of the match. Casper Claes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ozanköy u21's Ren Xi Chen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seyhan Atlıhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Seyhan Atlıhan was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Yves Dervaux capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yves Dervaux really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seyhan Atlıhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ozanköy u21's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Ozanköy u21's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. Ozanköy u21's Seyhan Atlıhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Ozanköy u21 from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Belgium left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ozanköy u21.
