Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aurelio Mederi kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Aurelio Mederi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Remus Pinatel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costin Giugiuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Dostal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Mederi's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costică Chiriloaie in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Chiriloaie in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Rezek during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 26 minutes into the match, Aurelio Mederi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Lovera scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, John Lovera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Costică Chiriloaie took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Mederi in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Aurelio Mederi made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Aurelio Mederi made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. 47 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Mederi came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Aurelio Mederi sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. In the 56th minute, Aurelio Mederi made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Costică Chiriloaie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vavrinec Holub came out and tried to block the shot, but Costică Chiriloaie slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Mederi in the 63rd minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Erik Jilek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Czech Republic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-13. Alan Rezek hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub was a little too slow when Aurelio Mederi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-14. 75 minutes into the match, Aurelio Mederi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Mederi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-15. In the 78th minute, Emil Gheară fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-17 when Aurelio Mederi sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Dumitru Nichita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Vavrinec Holub managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when A.C. Milan's Aurelio Mederi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurelio Mederi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vavrinec Holub. That made the score 1-18 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded A.C. Milan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Czech Republic.
