Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Sven Krakouer fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Sven Krakouer a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Germany booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Zhan Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ulrich Stein hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas. 11 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintino Carvalhais in the 17th minute. André Jordão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zigmantas Gimbutas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Zigmantas Gimbutas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zigmantas Gimbutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zigmantas Gimbutas's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zigmantas Gimbutas helped the player get up and apologised. Zigmantas Gimbutas hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Quintino Carvalhais kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 47thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Germany's keeper Tommy Kahn was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zigmantas Gimbutas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Quintino Carvalhais's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Antonio Adán made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. SC Braga made a substitution. Valdomiro Lira replaced Gastão Veiga. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Yan Zhan Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Braga's Geraldo Lucas was substituted for André Jordão. In the 66th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraldo Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. If Donato Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Braga were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zigmantas Gimbutas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Zigmantas Gimbutas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute, Donato Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Geraldo Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charl De Metser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After 83 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Donato Sampaio. In the 84th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charl De Metser to maneuver through the defense. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Adán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 96th minute of play. SC Braga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
