Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Pampas Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Piorno Zamora despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 12 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. In the 14th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Piorno Zamora. Pampas Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lekumberri Labarra in the 17th minute of play. Piorno Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pampas Team's Piorno Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Lara in the 27th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 29th minute of play forced Pampas Team's goalkeeper Piorno Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerold Lara in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Bastian Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lekumberri Labarra to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Jerold Lara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-2. After 59 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piorno Zamora was left in no man's land by his defense there! Piorno Zamora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Pampas Team made a substitution. Isaac Echavarri replaced Işıkalp Sani. Piorno Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 84th minute of play forced Pampas Team's goalkeeper Piorno Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Lars Meesters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pampas Team's Piorno Zamora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Ximun Alonso's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ximun Alonso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Pampas Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximun Alonso to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik de Nooter in the 96th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
