The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Heremans came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Evert Heremans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Peres was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes De Gulden Draak got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Backes. After 55 played minutes De Gulden Draak got a freekick which was hit by Nils Kettler. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Siim Kikas in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Siim Kikas made a huge save. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Heremans, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Dieter Strelow kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Backes came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Erwin Backes made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Boris Rülke made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nils Kettler however managed to control. De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 80th minute of play. Manuel Peres struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Gulden Draak. With a little luck, De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line.
