In the last second Gabriel Ascaso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Adriel Ba Loua in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Trifan got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geronimo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 31st minute of play. Geronimo Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Geronimo Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Dark Prophets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mai Ping Yi to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduard Trifan to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Dark Prophets got a freekick which was hit by Mai Ping Yi. Mai Ping Yi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Sabin Verzeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Santiago Sartori hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriel Ba Loua in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Ascaso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriel Ba Loua's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Rolf De Weerdt hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. In the 70th minute Spain were awarded a corner. Adria Bielsa went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed David Aranda to score against Geronimo Argi in Dark Prophets's goal. 0-1 after 70 minutes. Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Carles Cherro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi did a great save. Mai Ping Yi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. 79 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Geronimo Argi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carles Cherro. With a little luck, Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi got control of the ball when Carles Cherro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mai Ping Yi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Dark Prophets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mai Ping Yi couldn't finish the play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dark Prophets's goalie and right to Sergio Ruiz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dark Prophets's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Spain's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
