After 8 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. 14 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Stevens came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Carlisle Fenwick made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Carlisle Fenwick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Arty Shearn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 28th minute of the match. Boroondara Milan were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ned Mills took the corner. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Carlisle Fenwick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlisle Fenwick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Paco Everett sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. 41 minutes into the game, Andres Stevens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Carlisle Fenwick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6.

In the 51st minute Carlisle Fenwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Andres Stevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick. But to his dismay, Carlisle Fenwick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 66 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Everett came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Diehl having to interfere. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 76th minute. Boroondara Milan made a substitution. Rusty Reynolds replaced Paco Everett. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlisle Fenwick went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Drake Sobczak hit a great ball. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Carlisle Fenwick. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Martyon Diehl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Germany supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Boroondara Milan's performance. The match ended with a win for Boroondara Milan.
