Graciano Coutinho's late challenge caught a Victoria Toruń's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Graciano Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Victoria Toruń's Radomir Kapera was substituted for Ture Springfält. In the 7th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piotr Dziedelonis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Yan Quan in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Burt Burachek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria Toruń fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, D.J. 武磊 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Victoria Toruń's supporters rose to their feet, but D.J. 武磊 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Victoria Toruń's goalie and right to Fabricio Andrade. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Victoria Toruń's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from D.J. 武磊 went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Borys Poreda in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Borys Poreda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Borys Poreda. Borys Poreda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After the first half Victoria Toruń were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Borys Poreda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 55th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from D.J. 武磊, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Borys Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. In the 67th minute of the game Rodolfo Miranda made a throw-in which Caetano Moreira played forward. After 70 played minutes Victoria Toruń got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Fantini. Victoria Toruń's Piotr Dziedelonis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Borys Poreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 73rd minute of play. Zhu Yan Quan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. After 77 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Poreda was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Zhu Yan Quan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 2-3. In the 86th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Victoria Toruń got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Fantini. The audience was convinced that Felipinho Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Poreda was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When Portugal's Felipinho Amorim in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Victoria Toruń players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
