Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Carlisle Fenwick sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th minute Boroondara Milan were awarded a corner. Ned Mills went to the cornerflag to take it. Boroondara Milan's Ned Mills was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arty Shearn struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. Arty Shearn hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balazs Lajos in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martyon Diehl saved Boroondara Milan from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. Martyon Diehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Paco Everett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Andres Stevens tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carlisle Fenwick scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Major Barna took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martyon Diehl. Martyon Diehl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Hungary's Balazs Lajos in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boroondara Milan's goalie prevented a goal. Boroondara Milan's Martyon Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 45th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Diehl having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paco Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Boroondara Milan's Rusty Reynolds was substituted for Paco Everett. With an all-out effort, Hungary's Martyon Diehl threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Takacs Tibor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 80 minutes of play, Boroondara Milan's Rusty Reynolds made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Sperling came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Martyon Diehl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martyon Diehl came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
