Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Carlisle Fenwick came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Andres Stevens struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 10th minute of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Carlisle Fenwick sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Carlisle Fenwick struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Everett in the 20th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Boroondara Milan were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ned Mills took the corner. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drake Sobczak to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Boroondara Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Carlisle Fenwick made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Boroondara Milan got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ned Mills ran over to the corner to take the kick. 55 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 59th minute, Andres Stevens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Boroondara Milan fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Carlisle Fenwick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boroondara Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlisle Fenwick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlisle Fenwick took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janik Vogt during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Boroondara Milan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
