Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlisle Fenwick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 21st minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Drake Sobczak came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Everett in the 35th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Carlisle Fenwick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 42nd minute of play. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Martyon Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 46th minute of play. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Ned Mills tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlisle Fenwick made a kick off. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jack Reisz hit a great ball. When Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlisle Fenwick in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlisle Fenwick went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. Benny Atkin hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boroondara Milan fully deserved thier win.
