An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 10th minute of play forced Porto Sul Football's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francesco Toldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Edinho Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Edinho Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Porto Sul Football got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo dos Santos. Calisto Flayre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Novaes in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Samuel Netto notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Netto in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Francesco Toldo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César de Moraes in the 55th minute of play. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Francesco Toldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Toldo having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Netto went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Novaes in the 66th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Balazs Lajos made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Toldo. Porto Sul Football's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calisto Flayre in the 84th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César de Moraes in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Porto Sul Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Porto Sul Football players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
