Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Austria booed when Medevoort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepijn de Cock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Sandro Galishoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karahan Saylan went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the game, Fermin Bonadona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Wallner kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Fausto Mangione had a good opportunity to score a goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went on the wrong side of the left post. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karahan Saylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Karahan Saylan made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Karahan Saylan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Karahan Saylan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karahan Saylan in the 58th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karahan Saylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fausto Mangione came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Medevoort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Mangione couldn't finish the play. Fabio Auer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karahan Saylan's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Medevoort's Karahan Saylan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With a little luck, Medevoort's Karel Wessels got control of the ball when Fabio Schneider tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes in the game, Jonas Nalder fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karel Wessels having to interfere. Sandro Galishoff came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karel Wessels could save by the left post. Karel Wessels was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Sandro Galishoff capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandro Galishoff really showed his touch with that goal: 10-1. When Medevoort's Karahan Saylan in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Austria's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karahan Saylan in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind.
