In the 11th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Floris Claeys to maneuver through the defense. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sylwester Wawro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Christian Burgo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Casper Claes to make any attempt to save it. If 高宇川 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Sven McNamara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilesindo Guereña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Christian Burgo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes, 高宇川 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kwyjibo and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kwyjibo's 高宇川 got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Sylwester Wawro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Kwyjibo got a freekick which was hit by Kyrylo Latenko. In the 37th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sylwester Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Sylwester Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Burgo in the 54th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Sylwester Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo. But to his dismay, Christian Burgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Kwyjibo's Jorrin Ascargorta was substituted for Kyrylo Latenko. Bahadırhan Yiğithan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilesindo Guereña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute 高宇川 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Burgo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Burgo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute Christian Burgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Burgo might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Burgo ran back to his position shaking his head. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Burgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilesindo Guereña in the 87th minute of play. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
