Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sigvard Lange showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Henry Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Skånes stolthet!'s Henry Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Constantijn Airpoel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Henry Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of the match. Henry Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Lange, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Constantijn Airpoel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Timmy Clementsson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skånes stolthet!. In the 36th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Lars Meesters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Hellström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sigvard Lange made the kick off in the second half. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Accam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy Clementsson in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute Timmy Clementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Abbe Khalil struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skånes stolthet!. After a defensive mix-up in Skånes stolthet!'s zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Hellström came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
