Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Haikin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Trym Johnsrud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Qin Ke Kun got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Trym Johnsrud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ballkam Sportsklubb's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
