With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Benedykt Pankiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Drasko Rajkovic came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Serbia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drasko Rajkovic couldn't finish the play. Borjan Golubovic blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobald Zatorski having to make a save. Teobald Zatorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sreten Popovic in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MILANELLO BATORY's zone, Borjan Golubovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobald Zatorski came out of the goal and Borjan Golubovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drasko Rajkovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Teobald Zatorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MILANELLO BATORY's Teobald Zatorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borjan Golubovic in the 29th minute of play. When Wit Bartelak fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MILANELLO BATORY's protests and gave Wit Bartelak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Wit Bartelak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sreten Popovic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobald Zatorski was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Borjan Golubovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Zatorski having to interfere. MILANELLO BATORY's Teobald Zatorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sreten Popovic in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Sreten Popovic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teobald Zatorski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sreten Popovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Serbia's Vladeta Jovic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teobald Zatorski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MILANELLO BATORY's Teobald Zatorski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save MILANELLO BATORY from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Miljan Gavrilovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Sreten Popovic made a precise shot to the right of Teobald Zatorski. MILANELLO BATORY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Teobald Zatorski made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Borjan Golubovic sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, MILANELLO BATORY's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Teobald Zatorski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Zivko Cvetkovic in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MILANELLO BATORY's Zbyszko Turek. In the 75th minute, Rasko Nestorovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MILANELLO BATORY's Dariusz Jaruzelski took a good shot, in the 76th minute, which hit the crossbar above Zvezdan Nedeljkovic's head, and flew over the goal. Serbia's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by MILANELLO BATORY. Thanks to some nice moves Drasko Rajkovic could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Teobald Zatorski however easily saved by the left post. Sreten Popovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Teobald Zatorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Miljan Gavrilovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teobald Zatorski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Drasko Rajkovic who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Teobald Zatorski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Serbia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MILANELLO BATORY throughout the match.
