After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Omar Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spain's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Manninger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 31 minutes, Filipe Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jon Cubero was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. After 71 minutes Manchester United F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adria Bielsa who took care of the corner kick. Spain's Adria Bielsa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander Manninger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Manchester United F.C.'s Alexander Manninger got control of the ball when Carles Cherro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexander Manninger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Ruiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Pau Herrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spain were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
