Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Sigfrido Auletta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nova Venécia-ES's Mauro Barreto. Mauro Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 8 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Natã Quintal sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Mauro Barreto came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Siricio Liotta. But to his dismay, Siricio Liotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nova Venécia-ES's Mauro Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 20th minute of play. Mauro Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Italy booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonsalve Alabern didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório Nascimento in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Davi Lendaa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Flavio Vittori 28 minutes into the match. Leonel Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natã Quintal got free with Flavio Vittori in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sigfrido Auletta. After some careless play in the Nova Venécia-ES defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Barreto. The Nova Venécia-ES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Barreto should have stopped the shot. After 47 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zena Busacca. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Lendaa made a kick off. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Nascimento in the 51st minute of play. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gonsalve Alabern in the 53 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Porziano Marchitelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Porziano Marchitelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitório Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Mauro Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nova Venécia-ES getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leonel Paranaense hit a great ball. Valdo Diniz made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Natã Quintal however managed to control. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Lendaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78thth minute of the game Davi Lendaa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zaccheo Andolinas short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Mauro Barreto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd minute, Porziano Marchitelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. The supporters of Italy booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonsalve Alabern didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Lendaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The throw-in from Gonsalve Alabern in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Adriano Curto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Curto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 95th minute.
