The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Federer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Zygmunt Pawlik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hungary booed when KP Chemik Police was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Ptaszek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guto Sabóia's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Guto Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary played a much better game than KP Chemik Police and deserved their victory. The KP Chemik Police players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
