Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Søren Kierkegaard in the 4th minute of play. When Aleksander Mellin came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Klostergårdens FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksander Mellin couldn't finish the play. The Klostergårdens FK fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Klostergårdens FK's Aleksander Mellin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Mellin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Klostergårdens FK's Søren Kierkegaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 22 played minutes Klostergårdens FK got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Blohme. Bertram Svenningsen scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iordache Boteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Klostergårdens FK's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Boteanu came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordache Boteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Iordache Boteanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Aleksander Mellin made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Denmark booed when Klostergårdens FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Ahlén didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iordache Boteanu skillfully saved the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Klostergårdens FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 57 in the game by Søren Kierkegaard from a close distance when the talented Keld Paulsen managed to make a qualified save. Denmark's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertram Svenningsen in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Boteanu saved Klostergårdens FK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 60th minute of play forced Klostergårdens FK's goalkeeper Iordache Boteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denmark! When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Klostergårdens FK's Søren Kierkegaard got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Keld Paulsen. 67 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Søren Kierkegaard. In the 70th minute Søren Kierkegaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klostergårdens FK's Iordache Boteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes Klostergårdens FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. In the 75th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Boteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenn Skou got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bertram Svenningsen. Joel Törnkvist made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aleksander Mellin however managed to control. Aleksander Mellin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Boteanu was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Søren Kierkegaard fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Klostergårdens FK's protests and gave Søren Kierkegaard a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Klostergårdens FK's Søren Kierkegaard got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Iordache Boteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. The Denmark manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Klostergårdens FK to win.
