It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Basaik in the 13th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Major went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 24 minutes STILON GORZÓW's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Slazak having to interfere. Zdzislaw Slazak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, STILON GORZÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Baratta to maneuver through the defense. Zdzislaw Slazak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes STILON GORZÓW got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Pruss. Sebastian Major who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of STILON GORZÓW's Zdzislaw Slazak. Zdzislaw Slazak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zdzislaw Slazak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 40th minute of play. Boleslaw Chowaniec hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 48th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Basaik was the one to do the kick off. STILON GORZÓW's attentive Eugenio Baratta managed to snatch the ball when Gust Ennemans made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zdzislaw Slazak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. STILON GORZÓW's Miguel Refugio suffered a sore thigh after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 57 minutes into the game, David Eikelkamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STILON GORZÓW the free kick. The supporters of STILON GORZÓW booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. STILON GORZÓW's Eugenio Baratta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Zdzislaw Slazak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Gijsbert ter Kruimer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Slazak made a huge save. Gustaaf Groeneveldts short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Zdzislaw Slazak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Slazak made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zdzislaw Slazak. Zdzislaw Slazak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 81 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Chowaniec threw the ball into play from the sideline. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Fabian Sedzikowski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zdzislaw Slazak could save by the left post. In the 95th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zdzislaw Slazak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
