Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Odysseas Kondilis took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Jorge Mendiko fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lilla Jordberga BK's protests and gave Jorge Mendiko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Jorge Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennart Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Mendiko struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lilla Jordberga BK. Sigfrido Auletta scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Johansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Johansson having to interfere. Ignacio Dios made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Odysseas Kondilis immediately put the ball in play. Lilla Jordberga BK's Lennart Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lilla Jordberga BK's zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Johansson came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lennart Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Jörgen Vennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lennart Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes Lilla Jordberga BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. Porziano Marchitelli made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Lilla Jordberga BK's Lennart Johansson managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseas Kondilis in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 88th minute of play forced Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Lennart Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Italy fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Adriano Curto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lennart Johansson. That made the score 2-3 after 96 minutes of play.
