Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Valdir Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Valdir Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Charles Björkqvist in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Charles Björkqvist made a huge save. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Eriksson in the 66th minute of the match. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Charles Björkqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Edmund Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Charles Björkqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Takacs Tibor went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Here Comes the Hammer's Carlinhos Félix was substituted for Valdir Velloso. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Eriksson in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute John Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Here Comes the Hammer's Elof Åström was substituted for Gustav Larsfelt. In the 92nd minute Here Comes the Hammer were awarded a corner. Marko Persson went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Carlinhos Félix heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Marko Persson's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marko Persson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Here Comes the Hammer's Marko Persson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Charles Björkqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post.
