In the 32nd minute, Tal Heggit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ugonotti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The throw-in from Balázs Sass in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Graciano Coutinho. Ugonotti's Fortunato Musso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 38th minute of play. Ismael Licerio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinícius Juniors kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 4-2 in the 41 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off.
