Daniel Pimentel's late challenge caught a Ugonotti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Pimentel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesur Atik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes, Esteban Sugoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ugonotti and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ugonotti's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Portugal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tal Heggit in the 11th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Ugonotti were awarded a corner. Yu Wei Bo went to the cornerflag to take it. Caetano Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Caetano Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Juniors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yu Wei Bo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Cesur Atik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yu Wei Bo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fortunato Musso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Moura in the 27th minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesur Atik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesur Atik in the 29th minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tal Heggit to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Moura. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Viriato Moura hit a great ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Tal Heggit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ugonotti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tal Heggit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Musso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Vinícius Juniors tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Wei Bo got free with Wilson Amorim in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ugonotti's Yu Wei Bo. But to his dismay, Yu Wei Bo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Musso saved Ugonotti from getting behind. Fortunato Musso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Yu Wei Bo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ugonotti's Fortunato Musso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ugonotti's goalkeeper Fortunato Musso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ugonotti's Fortunato Musso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Musso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Juniors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Musso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Caetano Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Musso. Ugonotti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Portugal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ugonotti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
