Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Topolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Filip Topolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pankracy Rasiak was slow to take the kick. During this time LKS Wasik Lidzbark's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Dariusz Borkowski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dariusz Borkowski in the 22nd minute. When Emil Modrzewski fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LKS Wasik Lidzbark's protests and gave Emil Modrzewski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, one of LKS Wasik Lidzbark:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LKS Wasik Lidzbark. LKS Wasik Lidzbark:s Filip Topolski showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. Filip Topolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 29th minute of the match. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Topolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Takacs Tibor kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Freitas in the 41st minute of play. After 46 minutes, Dariusz Borkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LKS Wasik Lidzbark and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hungary booed when LKS Wasik Lidzbark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Borkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

51 minutes into the match, Dudu Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dudu Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalkeeper Filip Topolski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 54 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Takacs Tibor. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Duszenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Freitas in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dudu Freitas in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalkeeper Filip Topolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Pankracy Rasiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dudu Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Antal Valentin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 85 minutes, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takacs Tibor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Dudu Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Marian Duszenski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, LKS Wasik Lidzbark could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
