Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Straedelburgh's Narciso Madureira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Narciso Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aderbal Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Madureira in the 8th minute of play. Aderbal Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Sílvio Ferrão notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aderbal Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Straedelburgh got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Madureira. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Madureira in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aderbal Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aderbal Santos. Straedelburgh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Narciso Madureira took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 35 minutes into the match, Narciso Madureira notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Aderbal Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Aderbal Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Sílvio Ferrão scored 2-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Ferrão came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Ferrão spun around in front of the goal 45 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Portugal's goal. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Madureira in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

In the 54th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aderbal Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Caco Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Straedelburgh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. Karl-Michael Helström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Straedelburgh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Portugal.
