The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenney Aasum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Augustin Staalfos sent off a good shot on target. F.C. København's Blas Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 18th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Blas Cidro quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play forced F.C. København's goalkeeper Blas Cidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. København's Blas Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Augustin Staalfos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Staalfos in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. F.C. København's Vilmer Tokkesdal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Terri Steenstrup kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 played minutes F.C. København got a freekick which was hit by Carl Leer. F.C. København's Blas Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 40th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Staalfos in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to F.C. København getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Freddie Stavngaard hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Cidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augustin Staalfos to strike the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Staalfos's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When Augustin Staalfos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the F.C. København fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Staalfos couldn't finish the play. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Staalfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Staalfos's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Blas Cidro in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blas Cidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 77th minute of play. F.C. København made a substitution. Erhard Kirkhede replaced Eckhardt Brøbech. After 80 minutes F.C. København's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Takacs Tibor to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Cidro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of F.C. København booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhard Kirkhede in the 86th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenney Aasum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Blas Cidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Erhard Kirkhede came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. København's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Cidro came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Staalfos in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hungary players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C. København.
