Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Cândido Linhares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Porto came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that NoMoreMoneyForMZ were the better team. NoMoreMoneyForMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
