Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antal Valentin kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Posadzki in the 5th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Eddy van den Eede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Westenenk were awarded a corner. Eddy van den Eede went to the cornerflag to take it. After 12 played minutes Westenenk got a freekick which was hit by Joop Koopmans. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Jaap van der Schans however easily saved by the left post. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Westenenk's Valio Tammisto. But to his dismay, Valio Tammisto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans got control of the ball when Hegedus Henrik tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eddy van den Eede who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Westenenk's corner Eddy van den Eede fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Westenenk from getting a goal against them. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 30th minute. The corner led to Hungary's Vörös Henrik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Westenenk's Wieslaw Posadzki got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Valio Tammisto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 44th minute of the match. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jaap van der Schans made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valio Tammisto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Wieslaw Posadzki came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Westenenk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wieslaw Posadzki couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Wieslaw Posadzki tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Westenenk getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eddy van den Eede hit a great ball. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaap van der Schans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jaap van der Schans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaap van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 79th minute of play. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jaap van der Schans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 87th minute of the match. Westenenk's Filip Hansma got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
