After some careless play in the Rio Gallegos Unidos defense, Camille Baume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Iza. The Rio Gallegos Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Iza should have stopped the shot. Alexis Bruneau kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Jonathan Balendin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roman Iza came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Frank Peletier. But to his dismay, Frank Peletier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Roman Iza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes of play, France's Camille Baume made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Iza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, France's Maxence Durand got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ubaldo Gilen charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Gilen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, one of Rio Gallegos Unidos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rio Gallegos Unidos. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. David Barbier hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Chapuis in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Iza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 played minutes Rio Gallegos Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Mancio. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Iza having to interfere. Frank Peletier struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Roman Iza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

52 minutes into the match, Rio Gallegos Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Roman Iza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, LeBron James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Nuno came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camille Baume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Iza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. David Barbier got in the 74th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Roman Iza and thus it was 0-5. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Nuno in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Peletier could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Roman Iza however easily saved by the left post. Rio Gallegos Unidos's Roman Iza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Gallegos Unidos from getting a goal against them. After having played for 85 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rio Gallegos Unidos's Cesar Belo was substituted for Paulino Mancio. In the 93rd minute, Quentin Beaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Beaux. France's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
