The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Eriberto Honesto in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 38th minute of play forced 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper Eriberto Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Honorio Birjaio in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Zena Busacca. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Eriberto Honesto made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Eriberto Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eriberto Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Birjaio made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Urti in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 82nd minute of play forced 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper Eriberto Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, 1989 Blxsk's Flavio Vittori threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alvaro Tiniebra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Roman Arlo had several of the Italy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
