Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off. Christoffer Josefsson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Gianpaolo Mascari fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cornel Luncaniță quite easily take care of the ball. Cornel Luncaniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Zaccheo Andolina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cornel Luncaniță. The goal made the score 1-0. Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Segelbut IF from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Munio in the 14th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cornel Luncaniță to make any attempt to save it. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuang Jian Yi in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Luncaniță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Christoffer Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Luncaniță was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zaccheo Andolina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. In the 45th minute Zhuang Jian Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siricio Liotta in the 47th minute of play. Siricio Liotta scored 4-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornel Luncaniță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Munio was the one to do the kick off. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Segelbut IF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gustav Hedlund hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 61st minute of play forced Segelbut IF's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Henric Alefors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Luncaniță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Segelbut IF got a freekick which was hit by Henric Alefors. Cornel Luncaniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Zhuang Jian Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. The supporters of Italy booed when Segelbut IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segelbut IF made a substitution. Alfons Öberg replaced Alf Ekelund. After a rather tough play, Segelbut IF's Gustav Hedlund got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Cornel Luncaniță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 83rd minute of play. Cornel Luncaniță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porziano Marchitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Luncaniță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Cornel Luncaniță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. 98 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF's goal looked a bit too open when Guiscardo Davide came free, but Cornel Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
